Well said. I agree with the concept of studying abroad. Study abroad is more than just a catchphrase but its lot more.
After teaching English in Japan for ten years I would agree. If you are thinking about learning a English invest your money on learning English in a English speaking country.
I know I wouldn't have mastered Japanese in a classroom. Living and studying in Japan for several years is the reason why I can speak fluent Japanese
