Volunteer Work in France

Eurolingua Institute - News Flash

New programme for 2008:
Short 2-week French course, followed by volunteer work in France. A great adventure for young people looking for something different.

Young people from across the world will spend 2 or 3 weeks together as volunteers. During this time, the group of international volunteers will work closely with local organisations on a project of benefit to the local community. All projects are socially relevant - for example, improving existing hiking paths or laying new paths, cleanup of nature reserves, renovation work on an education centre, construction work on a youth centre, assisting in the planning, organisation and holding of cultural events, etc. Depending on project size, 5 to 20 volunteers will form a group which will work and live together for the duration of the workcamp.

For most projects volunteers between 18 and 30 years old are accepted. Food and accommodation are provided for the volunteers. http://www.eurolingua.com/French_and_Volunteeer_Work.htm
