"French Language and Lifestyle" - new French course

“Language and Lifestyle” is a 25-hour French programme which will help you both to improve your language skills and allow you to discover and enjoy various aspects of French culture and way of life with the help of teachers and group leaders (all native French speakers). Each day has a particular “theme” such as the cinema, the press, food and drink, painting, music and song. One afternoon is devoted to finding out about the historic city of Montpellier with a guided visit and a discovery questionnaire. The mornings are usually classroom-based. Working together with fellow students you undertake a varied range of real-life tasks, language activities and project work with a teacher to guide and facilitate the learning process. This is followed in the afternoon by a theme-linked visit or activity. The week ends with a language workshop, for example in the form of a question and answer session and a relaxing and fun afternoon of board games (play Montpellier Monopoly for example!) or French music and song.
