International Language Homestays - what is it?

Language homestays combine living and studying abroad in your tutor’s own home. You can take advantage of learning at your own rhythm, pace and level, meeting friends, neighbours and professional colleagues etc to help improve your language skills.

On one of our cultural immersion experiences you will share meals and all aspects of social and cultural life as a member of your teacher’s family, including local trips and excursions. Formal lessons are structured around your own subjects of interest for 15, 20 or 25 hours per week, scheduled at the times that suit you best. This leaves plenty of time for your own independent study, leisure time and sight seeing so you can enjoy a first-hand experience of the real language and lifestyle. Find out about learning French in France or maybe you would like to learn Portuguese in Brazil?

Eurolingua's homestay programs are highly cost-effective. Periods between 1 and 4 weeks are available within which you will learn to speak the language. Why spend endless money, time and travel expenses on repeated visits to language schools only to find yourself in a large class of other learners? Surround yourself with fluent native speakers and you will become fluent, just like you did with your native language. Put yourself on the fast track to rapid foreign language learning success with a Eurolingua language school homestay and learn to speak like a native! Why not check out a Spanish homestay in Spain or what about learning Italian in Italy?

We have many countries for you to choose from so either click on a country link below.

Eurolingua Institute - new UK partner school in Oxford

The Eurolingua Institute is pleased to welcome the Oxford International Study Centre in Oxford as its partner school in the UK. Our joint programmes include English language training and paid hotel internship and work experience programmes in the United Kingdom.

Oxford is world renowned for its university. What may be less well known isthat it is also an important axis for corporate training for companies from all over the world, working alongside companies in Oxford and London. Oxford International Study Centre has arranged many such programmes, held in the University in Oxford, and drawing upon expertise from the University and business worlds. The Directors of OISC (Robert Marsden and Carolyn Llewelyn) share many years of experience in international business and education. Oxford is a thriving modern city, as well as an ancient university, and has a fast growing service sector (Finance, Banking, Law, International Relations, Local Government, Marketing, Education, to name but a few) as well as expertise in such sectors as Energy, Biotechnology and Engineering.

The city has many years of experience in welcoming individuals and groups from international companies and organisations for short tailor-made programmes in Oxford. Education and Training organizations draw upon both the expertise of London and Oxford. The programmes are often held in the University of Oxford, with guest speakers from the University and from Business. Oxford International Study Centre, one of the companies involved in such programmes, is able to arrange introductions to major decision makers in local and national government, industry and commerce. These "match-making" events enable international managers and staff to make contacts with appropriate business leaders during their programme, which increases opportunities for future business contracts and outsourcing. Companies are also able to arrange for the delegates to meet with people from the University Departments, including the Said Business School. Seminar leaders have experience of both international business and training and many have years of experience working abroad at senior level. They draw upon expertise not only from the business world but also from the educational sector. The increasing globalization of companies and organisations leads to the increased need for Intercultural Business Communications in English. And of course there are opportunities for younger people....often the sons and daughters of company staff. Advice is provided for delegates on educational opportunities for their children in the UK, including boarding schools and universities, especially Oxford.
